The film-game hybrid 20Lives combines elements of both media. From September 19th, 2005, through October 13th, 2005, participants could spend each day adopting the identity of one of the 20 protagonists. Note: these video has been upscaled.

Nokia 20Lives used the most advanced online interactive video technology to make the experience as realistic as possible, as well as mobile phone calls and SMS to blend fiction and reality. It had a deep and unconventional plot that linked all 20 characters, enabling players to speak with one another and reinforcing Nokia's brand promise of "Connecting People." Nokia 20Lives entertained about 750.000 registered customers in 21 European countries, including Turkey, Israel, and Russia.

My Role

  • Video post-production: lots of rotoscoping and cleanup of shots

  • Making sure all shots begin and end matched and were perfectly loopable.
